It assists the educator in creating and identifying the essential skills and tasks students will be doing in the Webquest. The "Taskonomy", breaks the webquest down into smaller curriculum friendly pieces and helps the builder identify the learning goals and curriculum focus that will be addressed by the Webquest. Here are some of the tasks Bernie mentions and there are also examples of how these tasks were incorporated into existing webquests: Retelling, Compilation, Mystery, Journalistic, Design, Creative product, Consensus building, Persuasion, Self-Knowledge, Tasks, Analytical, Judgment, Scientific.
